It's been a while since I've posted an update on Klinger. He is plugging along. Some days he has great numbers and others days they're high. I just try and keep up as best as I can with his numbers. My main goal is to make sure he's happy. Radar still wants to run and play and pounce on Klinger. nailbite_smile I keep waiting for Radar to grow out of the "teenager" stage...but he sure makes me laugh.
Here's a recent picture of Klinger.

Hi Marcy -

He looks so HANDSOME there with his carrot (?) We used to have one like that, but Jack has this issue with "everything is MY toy" - and they either end up gutted, or carried outside. Especially the little ones! How's Klinger getting along? He looks very happy with his toy!

Grayson has a new mousie. He was carrying that and another stuffed cat toy around - the kind that half krinkles and the other half looks like Play-doh oozing through a pasta machine! I think it's called a "Kickeroo" He actually jumped on the Hoosier cabinet with it in his mouth! I was SOOOOO proud! I had no idea he'd jump that high carrying something probably 9" or 10" by 3".

I need some more quality time with him. Been so busy getting things lined up, and getting things wrapped up at work, that I think he's just needing some more attention. Everyone else too!!! But next week, he'll have my undivided attention, so maybe that will cement our bond even more. He'd love me most if we could stop doing pokies! ;-)

Marcy, I have to say that Klinger's surviving that incident makes me so happy! We just never know, do we? Thank God, and excellent vets, that he got a second chance.

Nice photo - a cat and his carrot!

Awww and here I was just today wondering how my favorite all white handsome kitty-man was doing and I log in here and there he is looking so happy with his new carrot. I better not let Autumn see that picture or she will be booking a flight to Colorado. :-D

So glad to see Klinger is doing well, and well Radar should grow out of that teenager phase in a couple of years..lol I don't think any of my boys got truly over it until they were about 4-5 years old, and so far no one has told Maxwell that he was suppose to grow out of it. He is still waking us up by pouncing on his nanner-mouse ( a yellow catnip mousie) or attacking those dreaded sheet-rats at night before bed.

I'm going against the flow and calling that a RED HOT CHILI PEPPER!!!

Good to see he's been out and about.

Heather wins the prize! It is a Red Hot Chili Pepper. Radar has the carrot ;-)

It dawned on me last night who they remind me of...

Klinger - Prince William, with his sensitivity, charm, and always the perfect gentleman
Radar - Prince Harry, with his zest for life and always looking for the party, and that goofy grin he had as a boy
They are quite the pair.

Thanks for your comments and well wishes. Yes, Sheila, it is truly amazing that he survived. I still look at him in wonder and recognize how blessed we are.
:YMHUG:

Heather must have younger eyes than me.... or better reading glasses!!!

It was orange-ish! ;-)

Hi Marcy -

Just stopping back in to say thank you for the little squirrel toy you gave Grayson Saturday! I know it's alive, cuz he's been all over the kitchen & dining room!!! Keeps showing up in different places! Clearly Grayson knows it's his, and he's enjoying it!!! How thoughtful of you to bring him a toy! Great to finally get to meet you too! If you'll PM me your e-mail, I'll send you the pictures we took.
