Oh my, you have had to work so hard to help this kitty! So, a double welcome and a hug just to start out with.

Hopefully the Libre is going to be able to give you the testing values you need to see if he is actually in remission. The numbers you report are good and I congratulate you on valiant efforts to test him yourself. You can get lancets at Walmart, about $3 for 100 in a box. If he is in remission, it's going to be very important to keep him on a low carb wet diet, to make that remission last as long as possible. We can help with that. We do need to know what he is eating now, since I am not certain you are still injecting insulin and getting those low numbers. Remission is defined as getting normal numbers with no insulin therapy, and we just need more information.
Could you take a few minutes and create a signature so we can see kitty's pertinent info when you post?
1. Setting up your signature (light grey text under a post). Here's how:
click on your name in the upper right corner of this page
click on "signature" in the menu that drops down
type the following in the box that opens: kitty's name/age/date of diabetes diagnosis/insulin you're using and dosage amount /glucose meter you're using/what (s)he eats/any other meds or health issues (s)he has. You can add your name, and a geographic location (sometimes the time zone matters) Be sure to SAVE when you are finished.
2. Another thing that will help us help you regarding recording the BG testing at home is to set up a spreadsheet like the one we use here. You will see how the trends and patterns emerge, and members can review his/her progress before offering suggestions or advice:

Enter as much information as you have to date, and whatever you get in future so that we can see better what's been going on.
Going forward, I suggest you post questions, issues and concern in the
Main Health forum because more members monitor that forum to be of assistance.
Please also visit the Vetsulin support forum
HERE and read the Beginner's Guide to Vetsulin. If you have dosing or insulin related questions, that's the place to post.
I know you have been struggling, but it sounds to me like you have already helped this kitty so much. Let us help you learn more about feline diabetes and managing treatment. Best wishes going forward on this new adventure in your life and again, welcome to the community.
