Hello I have just given Magellan his VERY late shot and wonder if there is anyone up willing to sit up with me for a few hours.

I would test at one hour and see what the shows.
Do you have any high-carb food or Kero or other sugar on hand to give if necessary.

Yes I do and he has had some all ready as I know he is a fast diver. That was my plan it is just nice to have someone there that you can reach out and say wtf too.. if you know what i mean?

After the last check I went to bed thank you for the check to see how we are doing, have yet to be able to get a test and shot as he hid till way past the time to give. Can cats tell time???

I'm sorry - I was already asleep by the time you posted last night. I'm glad Magellan did fine in the end. :)

And yes, I'm sure cats can tell the time - ours definitely know when it's feeding time even if they still have food left in their bowls. And when I worked regular hours without breaks between work contracts in the UK, they knew when I was meant to get home...and apparently would get upset if I wasn't home on time. So there's no reason why Magellan wouldn't know that it's time for his shot too - I'm sure whatever way they have of telling the time works with all sorts of things.

If you shoot late, you can move back the time either 15 minutes per shot, or 30 minutes 1 time per day.

Since you've got your signature and spreadsheet going well, you may start posting in the Lantus/Levemir forum, where the major Lantus users post.

Its an option, not a mandate. You'll find that the regular Lantus posters have a lot of experience with nuances of reading the spreadsheets and managing some of the quirks in how cats respond.

Just making sure. I can be a bit terse/abrupt at times and folks don't always tell me.
Comes from growing up with books and not many people.
