For any of you who know my complex cat Payne, you will understand why we have decided to take her with us for a short vacation close. I've figured everything else out but even though we are staying in a suite, they have no microwave ....

I have:
use a blow dryer ohmygod_smile
the steam from the coffee pot ....
heat pad

Any other ideas?

Cup of hot water and some cosmetic pads. Drop pad in, wring out, shove under ear and stick. Instant heat. That's how I first did it with (((Baby)))GA.....I knew I needed instant blood with her and it worked like a charm until her ear started bleeding on its own.

Have you checked the hotel lobby, or asked at the front desk.

Sometimes they have a microwave where the coffee is served in the main lobby, or
they can bring one to your room.

Nancy, put your rice sockie in a zip lock bag, make sure it is totally sealed. put bag in a cup of very very very hot water. oh, before zipping bag, suck all the air out to make it as air tight as possible. 3 minutes or so....hot rice sockie. :-D

I also don't have a microwave, I've been using a regular kitchen sponge that I put under running hot water for about 30 seconds. Then I wring it out, cover it with a plastic bag, and use that.
