Hello there, I'm having a problem understanding the spreadsheets they are very confusing. I am only testing twice daily at the moment, it's really all I can afford. I did do three tests a day over the weekend but it's difficult to do on days when I am working so on those days he's only getting tested twice. The real problem here is I can't post the spreadsheet because I don't understand it. I don't know what AMPS are... and I don't understand the +1 +2 numbers etc. Is there a link to tell me what the heck these all mean!? ARG HELP! I don't know how to use the spreadsheets and it's frustrating. Can someone please explain to the dope what it means?
I have not tested for ketones and I'm afraid I cannot purchase the test strips until next paycheck as all my money has been dumped into doctors visit, supplies, and food for Jake. Over the weekend he did get a read out of 179 which I was very happy to see, but the next morning he was in the low 300's. Other than that I have not seen him be that low during the day after his shot/food.
I'm also freaking out a little because I found him eating polystyrine foam blocks when I got home tonight... is that gonna mess with his sugar!? He's such a goofy little kitty!
Thanks.
PS I read the stickies but apparently I'm not seeing the right one that explains what all these numbers mean. Also, can I still use this spreadsheet effectively if I can only test twice a day on days that I work?
SO frustrated...
