Hate to jink it but Robbie seems to be having a decent day (still in the yellow but some consistency here) - so now the issue is which of the following has led to this:

A) dose of 4.00 am and pm?
B) Feeding him a snack at 3am instead of 5am/6am?
C) sticking to the 6:30/6:30 shot times instead of 7:30/7:30? (who cares that mommy is NOT a morning person and will surely stab herself with the needle one of these mornings.)
D) Cutting back on the metamucil?

E) All of the above

AMPS 392
shot 4.00
+1 362
+4 297
+5 302
+7 280
+9 285
+9 - dinner

Oh hey Ellen.

Glad to know Robbie is doing better today.

I posted a response in your other condo from yesterday. Didn't know if you saw it.

Looking at the SS....
I would say the "big snack at PMPS +10 probably inflated today's AMPS a little bit.

A) the 4.0 am and pm seems to be helping.
B) As long as the snack isn't big enough to carry over to AMPS or PMPS, then it helps to give it a little "earlier" than normal.
C) Not sure if the specific time matters, but more having to do with when eating happens in relation to the shot time BG test. And yes, eventually, it's a foregone conclusion that you will jab yourself with a needle. Just don't push the plunger at the same time!
D) I think that definitely helped
E) Pretty much, yeah. :-D

Thanks Carl - if I push the plunger I just won't take my pill that morning - Robbie and I share a few aliments - asthma (allergy induced) and diabetes - we are also both hoovers LOL

Facing a 264 at AMPS +11.5 (tested at 6:30) - haven't been this low before a shot and am feeling a tad nervous - I've now got 15 minutes before the shot is due - he just ate 2 nice chunks of chicken (a reward for letting me front line him and test him all in one fell swoop) and had dinner at 4:45 - but this is till pretty low.
INPUT?? If anyone sees this, please

I'm looking at the pm cycle on the third or fourth when you saw blues...
I'm thinking 1.5 tops...

OK darn Carl I didn't see that tested him at 15 minutes after his PMPS time frame and it was 336 so I stuck with 4.00 - I'm off tomorrow so if I just screwed up Staying up with him won't be the worst thing for me but I'll feel like junk for doing it to him. I'm now wondering if that earlier number literally 30 minutes ago was a fluke?

Possible it went up fairly quick from eating and there's always meter variance...if you can get a +2 and +3 you should be able to catch if he's planning to drop a lot or fast.
Carl

No problem. I'm working but we got wifi in a couple locations on the park yesterday and just happened to catch your question...
carl

PMPS +2 318 - doesn't look drastic. I'm starting to wonder if he didn't eat all his dinner at 4:30 and maybe ate some later - I didn't get home till 6pm and my husband was working outside. When I checked there was maybe a bite left of dinner but it's possible he ate half of it at more like 5/5:30 so the food could be effecting him over a longer period?
