Has anyone tried this? Non absorbent cat litter

It looks like it would be a lot better than aquarium gravel when you need a urine sample. Has anyone tried it?

The Breeze litter system allows urine to drain to a holding chamber below, so the litter stays dry.

Sunflower seeds, which are oily, also will not absorb liquids.

Note that urine ketone, or ketone and glucose, test strips have very specific instructions for use. The urine must be fresh and uncontaminated. You may want to get a specimen within 30 minutes of deposit. The test strip should be opened and used quickly. The ones I've seen are not individually wrapped and air exposure causes them to deteriorate quickly.
