Has anyone heard of this?

No but its fascinating.. wonder if the cats will use it. Seems to me that those pee drops on the little test pad hes got are awfully small.. so what happens when a diabetic/CRD kitty lets loose the floodgates? Will there be a layer of pee over the top? Will cats use it after its been used once? Cuz then they have to get wet with urine!?

Seems like one of those ideas thats great on paper that might not work in real life with real cats
 
This product has been discussed on VIN.

It should only be used to get a quick sample - not for full-time use. Otherwise, as Lisa noted, you may have to provide a boat for the cat...or hip wadders (sp?). :-D
