It was a wonderful way to start the morning when I checked Baby's SS and saw that he ate by himself all day! You have done amazing work, and should be very proud.
Going forward, you should find some time to read the TR protocol
here before you adjust the dose at all. You will see that we strongly advise waiting 5-7 days before adjusting the first dose, and then 3-5 days between subsequent dose increases, and that is ONLY when the number are high continuously for that time period. When the numbers drop into the green, the count gets reset completely. In your case, this morning's dose would complete day 2. However, because Baby went so low on Wed, we would like to see any "bounce" to high numbers clear before we really started counting. Yesterday's Red numbers
may be artificially high as Baby's body's reaction to the previous day's low number.
Looking how strongly Baby responded to small numbers of 1 and 1.25u doses, we definately want to see if the full effect of the 0.75u is enough for Baby.
This may seem unnecessarily slow when we have so much data on our cats, but Lantus builds up in the cat's system very slowly, so Baby is still not getting the full effect of the current 0.75u dose for at least a couple more days. From each shot of Lantus, you have seen the part of the shot which takes effect in the first 12 hours, with a peak around 6 hours, but less obvious is the significant amount goes into the "shed" and gets released over the following few days. Literally, the Lantus forms little crystals at the injection site which slowly dissolve over a few days. This slow release is precisely what makes Lantus work so well to keep BG low and stable, but it does require patience to let the shed build up or empty when you change the dose.

And again, GREAT JOB!
