Harley is 402 PMPS because I could not get back home to give him food at noon. I usually would give him 1.5 units R to get it down, but I want to do a curve tomorrow. Should I not give the regular. He is on 6.4 units lantus AM, 6 units PM. Have not been able to get his profile up yet but will do so over the weekend.

Hi Pattie and welcome!

Do you have a spreadsheet? While a profile is helpful, a spreadsheet is something we rely on -- which I suspect you know from the old Board. Your old SS should work -- just make sure you have it set to share and link it to your signature. The instructions are in the Tech Center.

I'm not sure what you are asking when you ask about giving him the "regular." Do you mean the R? As long as the nadir of R does not overlap the nadir of the Lantus, it's fine. It depends on where Harley is in the cycle.

Hi Pattie and welcome to lantus land.

I'm with Sienne, we need to get info including a SS on Harley so we can see what is going on... I don't know anything about R, but what I do know if that Lantus is not like the other faster acting insulin.... and I am puzzled by your different dose in the AM and PM.... but I'll wait for your profile.

Again, welcome.
