I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! I am very thankful for this board & all of you who have helped Thumper & I since April. Even though she gives me trouble I hate to think where we would be without you.

I have been thinking a lot about Wendy lately. I wish we had gotten contact info from her. I hope & pray she is ok & Shaika (I know I spelled that wrong) also but I fear the worst.

Stay safe this weekend, especially if you're travelling! If you're going out shopping on Friday good luck!

And a Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
I am also oh so very thankful for this site and for PZI!
We started PZI in APril also and I know that saved Shakespeare's life...
I am so thankful for all of you, my wonderful new group of friends who are so very caring
and thoughtful and always there, no matter what time or day..to help each other.
May you all have a very safe and happy holiday!

Happy Thanksiving, All.

I'm also very thankful to have found this website and to have met so many PZI friends.

I too am thankful for this board and my PZI family! I am thankful for the extended time that I have been given with Kitty due to the expertise of the PZI members. Thanks to everyone for the continued support, even without an updated spreadsheet! I wish each and everyone of you a Wonderful Thanksgiving!

Stay Safe!

I was gonna start a thread like this but thought it was too early...then Barbara beat me to it!

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving, relaxing and spending time with loved ones. Slip the kitties some turkey from me (hey, no carbs!).

Thanks for all the info, advice, patience & laughter you share here in pzi land, and on fdmb as a whole.

I know Lucky, for one, is very thankful for this site and the people who have helped his momma  Without it, this momma would have gone nuts and might have given up.

Right now I am very thankful for the wonderful suggestion to increase his dose so drastically. I don't think I EVER would have just done it on my own, I would have been too scared and I'd still be in the same darn position wondering why things weren't working :YMSIGH:

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Hope everyone has a peaceful holiday, and that all the kitties give you a "day off", nothing but nice numbers.
I am so thankful to have found FDMB, and for deciding one day to start posting in the PZI forum. You've all made me feel so at home here!

Am I the only person in America that really can't stand turkey? I'm cooking NY Strips on the grill! Bob and Mullet will of course be dining on Turkey and Giblets, made with love by Purina.

Actualy, Carl, I'll be eating ham while the rest of the family has turkey (even the boys-that.s the top can o'friskees for tomorrow.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful weekend.

I am so thankful every day for our wonderful PZI family and extended FDMB family. I think we have the best group on the board. Who would have thought that what I originally thought was a devistating blow would turn out leading me to the most amazing group of people that I have ever met.

I am also thankful to the FDMB member from a decade or more ago who fed her extra sweet kitty turkey on Thanksgiving Day and noticed that his bg dropped, leading us all to low carb diets. And all of the FD pioneers who came before us to pave the way to make our lives easier and our sugar kitties happier and healthier.

Amen.

Happy Turkey day all!

I am thankful for my Peeps. While her diabetes and cancer are not something to celebrate, her former disease brought me here - to meet some of the best people this world has to offer. I am also thankful for insulin injections, steroid shots, and home testing. With a slight emphasis on wine after all of the preceding.

On the other hand, I am not thankful for dirty dishes, so we're heading out to an all you can eat buffet tomorrow - featuring shrimp and other assorted foods. I will have to partake in the lutefisk because I love to giggle at the taste and it's a wonderful stereotypical reminder of the world I would live to visit some day.

I am very thankful to all the supportive, informed and helpful friends I have met here in PZI land.
I "lurked" for months in fear to post until Sue reached out and sent me a PM.
Even before I ever posted, I checked in everyday to learn and see how all the kitties and beans were doing.
The best advice and information I have ever received since starting the FD dance a year ago was found on FDMB.
Without the support of others and knowing I was not alone in this dance, I would have had a nervous breakdown and been sent to the insane asylum long ago from stewing about FD.
And btw, I don't like turkey. I stick with all the delicious sides, like dressing, green bean casserole and sweet potatoes.
Wishing all a blessed and Happy Thanksgiving!

A Happy Thanksgiving to you all. We too, are very thankful for FDMB and all of you fine folks and kitties. You are all truly angels and the most supportive people on the planet.
Enjoy this day with your bean families and fur families.

peace,
Donna, Tom, Asher and Alby
