Happy New Year - Here's to all of you

Very Active Member
I was very busy today taking care of my home and husband and kids(cats),
getting ready for the new week, the new year ahead of me,
thinking of how busy I will be, my promotion at work has me working crazy,
still running home to take care of my Shakes, (and husband too!)
working nights and weekend....
But what is most in the front of all my thoughts are all of you.
No matter how busy I will be, I promise to do everything in my power to help all of you.
To be there for all of you who have always been there for me.
To those of you who carried me(not litterly, but emotionally) through the last year of this
dasterdly disease of diabetes. To everyone who has taught me so very much about it,
and now who I am able to do everything I can to help all the newbies here...
You have all truly become my "2nd family" and you have all touched my heart in a way that no one else
has ever been able to. The unconditional love and commitment here is overwhelming and has brought me
to happy tears oh so many times.
Here is to 2012...may all our dreams of remission come true, may we all stay together, and in each other hearts.
Lets try to be here for each other, support and care for each other through the tough times,
and lets not forget to laugh and drink together through the good times.

What a lovely thing to say, Denise. It does feel like a family here and I love how you all support each other and new people who post.

I echo your sentiments. May all our dreams of remission come true and may we continue to gain knowledge to help ourselves and others in need.

Thanks Denise for a very nice post. I think we are all thankful for having each other. I have learned so much here.

I guess I missed you getting a promotion at work. Congratulations! Don't burn yourself out though! Have a great week & year!

I feel the same way about everyone here and you Denise have always been there for everyone with encouragement, support, dosing suggestions and most of all a big hug and humor when we need it most.
Congratulations on your promotion! Here's hoping 2012 will be a good year for all the beans and kitties, all will get regulated or OTJ.
 
How beautiful Denise. I feel the same way, we are family, bonded together in a way that is hard to explain.

May 2012 be a wonderful new adventure for us all.
