Hi PZI folks!
We just wanted to stop by and wish you all the very best for the holidays and in the year ahead!

We have been blessed with a lot of work this fall and early winter season, which has kept us from posting as much as we’d like here at FDMB. Both cats did get a recent virus tho :sad: but all seems well again with that. Asher seems mostly regulated on Lantus now (touch wood) so we hope for the best ahead on that too.

We are very very sorry to hear about your Mother, Sue. I know eldercare is such a challenge in our lives. Glad you had hospice for her. Those people are truly angels. May all your happy memories about your Mom bring you peace. :YMHUG:

Big hugs to all the rest of you PZI folk too. You guys are our original family here at FDMB and we will never forget that.

I just read your post in LL, but have no clue about kitty virus meds. I also took a look at Asher's numbers, which are pretty :-D

The dose sort of made me do this :shock: :o and I'm guessing Tom had to put an addition on your house to give you a place to store your BOS. :lol:

Carl, I was wondering about something anti nausea for a kitty. I know the virus has to clear on it’s own, but Alby is fairly sensitive and I think he actually gets nauseas sometimes from food changes, etc.

And yes, we had to grow some BOS here :lol: shooting with Lantus. We are lucky that Asher doesn’t seem to be a diver tho, he seems to cruise, still it’s hard to get used to seeing numbers in the double digits, but I’ll take it for sure!

We are making an xmas batch of beer too Carl. Orange cardimom wheat. I’ll let you know how it turns out.

WOW! Asher is looking good Donna!!! Go Asher!!! Seems the longer lasting insulin is a good fit for our boys!

Hope everyone is feeling better. A couple of years back, I had an epidemic of URIs that went through the entire tribe. If this was a kindergarden class they would have closed school! :shock:

Hopefully all the work has made for an overall good year! Hope to see you around here from time to time.

I'm with Carl, looking at Asher's ss with my PZI brain just about takes my breath away but I know that you have Lantus figured out and are doing an amazing job.

Thanks everyone. Yes Rob, Asher has taken away my breath too with some of these numbers but we did at all gradually by the “book", so we felt ok about it since we are home quite a bit to keep a watchful eye. We have had some real good advice from some nice folks over at LL. Don’t try this at home, lol!!! :lol:

I am getting ready to go do the xmas tear down at the malls with my rigger friends, so Ash will be under the watchful eye of Tom. Hate to leave my boys!
But work cannot be turned down, so in we jump. I’ll be back in less than a week but it seems forever now.

So nice to hear from everyone here. I miss you guys! :YMHUG:
