hairball remedy recommendation?

I found many products contain corn syrup, I figure that's a bad idea for diabetic cats.
Then I got Laxatone Natural by Tomlyn, which doesn't has syrup in it. But my cat doesn't want to eat it after two licks.
Any suggestion? Thanks
 
I use Vaseline for my cats. I don't give them the option of not liking it, I put a dab on their paws and they lick it off. Problem solved. You could try that with the laxatone.
