Hairball remedy for diabetic cats?

Sorry, Celia's SS isn't up to date. I transfer her BG's manually into her ReliOn log book, then when I get time: transfer those to the SS. But she is constipated today for the first time I've ever seen & has attempted several times without going. Just read thread here abt Miralax & pumpkin which I will try. Also has always had an ongoing hairball issue that washed yard grass usually helps (cat grass gets destroyed in my house), but wanted to know if there's a hairball gel or other remedy like I use for my other cats, but that doesn't have malt syrup, caramel, etc. in it, in otherwords: that is LC/SF?

Vet's Best was recommended on this board years ago as safe for diabetics. The tablets are big but break easily to give as a treat or crumble on food.
