Yo Kitties, I heard from Gizmo (@Sienne and Gabby (GA) ) that today is National Cat Day and that we all should get special treats. So make sure your beans get the message!
Gus

Hi Beans (Ella here). Gus is growing back his long coat after having been shaved (because of awful mats). I wanted to get a shot of him in his "boots" (the long hair they left on his legs) before he regrows all of his hair. He looks like a pirate!
OT: still struggling with my pneumonia. Getting ready for a new round of tests. I think the bacteria are making a comeback. But I'm ok, just not able to do all the physical activities that are my norm.

I am so sorry you are still battling this issue. Many, many hugs. :bighug::bighug:

I kept looking and looking at the picture (before I scrolled down). My mind couldn't tell what my eyes were seeing - lol.

I was doing the same I thought Ella had been busy photoshopping LOL

Puss In Boots:joyful: He looks like adorable.

Sorry you are still battling with the pneumonia, sending vines, I know how you like to get outdoors for your hikes, must be really frustrating.

Happy Cat Day,
We have Cat day on the 8th August, Which is when we adopted BFG many moons ago.:cat::cat::cat:

Ella, Gus looks adorable - beautiful, but I'm not sure he's thrilled his photo was taken at that time. He might think he looks silly!

I have a lot of empathy for your pneumonia struggle -- please take it easy with your body, and get better :bighug: It can take so long . . .

Celebrate CATS:cat::cat::cat:

I think the Rescue Remedy is helping a bit. I have come to the conclusion that he just doesn't like me. It is what it is. As long as I can keep him from attacking and biting I will be content. Sad, but content.
:bighug::bighug::bighug:
How could he not. Some cats just need a lot of time and patience to get used to their beans.

Does he have a bed that he always sleeps in? perhaps you can put an old Tshirt that you've worn in it to get him used to your scent, if he associates you with a warm, cosy, safe place his attitude towards you may change.

Oh Ella! He's gorgeous! I thought I was looking at some 'mirror fracturing'...funny how the eyes play tricks on you! Or at least me...so cute that those are his 'boots'...

I sure hope the pneumonia can be easily managed and you improve soon. Get some extra sunshine - I know of a place... :)

Pass on cuddles from me to Gus. I hope he gets a special treat today!

Get better soon Ella. :bighug: Having just come off a one hour rowing machine workout, I can say some things are missable!

Gus is so cute. Love his boots. Tux was a nipper when he first showed up. Now he only nips if you are late to feed him.

Seems pneumonia is going around. I know quite a few who have it.

Take it easy and keep resting.

Thanks, Paula. That's what I'm trying to do. I hope I can get back on a better breathing track again. I think I need another course of a/bs. The doctors don't like to prescribe a/bs!
Scritches for Olive.

Gus, you look so cool in your boots! I know you're really busy climbing trees and stuff, but be sure you spend enough time holding down Auntie Ella. And I know you're applying lots of purr to her lungs. I'll come by with another KTSS box of goodies.
Purrs,
Felix
Chef Felix, you are the best! Thank you for the box of KTSS goodies. I know they'll help me get better.
P.S. So happy to read in your condo that you are doing well.

Gus is very handsome with his boots on!
I hope your pneumonia clears up soon. I think when you have something like Lyme, that really zaps you, it takes a while for your immune system to get back to full strength. Are you taking probiotics? With all the ABs you’ve had to take, they would probably be good for you.
