Okay, that is what the vet told me was 200 2x per day. So, should back off to 100 1x?
 
Yes, I am doing a watered down pate. Will keep that up. I feed him several times per day about a teaspoon+ per time. Need to cut his claws :eek:

Just got up, so haven't tested or anything. Wanted to see what you all had to say.

The fluids should be 10 ml per pound. If he's 11 lbs I'd do 100-110 ml. And make sure the previous fluids have fully absorbed (no bump) 200 can stress out the heart. Does he seem dehydrated? Feel his gums... Are they sticky or wet? Does his scruff snap back in 1-2 seconds or does it take longer.

Okay, did the 100. The fluids definitely are absorbed because he is always a little dehydrated. I use the scruff test.

I gave him his insulin. Will test shortly. Thank you!

If you really feel he needs more than the 100 maybe do 75 twice a day instead of a huge amount all at once

Thank you. I am so heartbroken. Griff was so special. This house is just not the same...........
