Hi Everyone,
Tryone just had his bg checked at the clinic today and it was 175. Hooray! My vet is extremely optimistic that we can get him off of insulin eventually & he will go into remission. They checked his thyroid and it is normal so unfortunately he does have cardiomyopathy, which is still hard news, but I will have to wait & see how it progresses over time. So far, Tyrone is doing well & I am so thankful! Thanks to this forum for all of the information & support. I am so grateful. I know I still have a long road ahead of me but things are looking up from where they were last week at this time.
