Gracie 3/25 +5.5 and we have GREEN !

Previously

I gave 1.1 units (or a fat 1.0, given my vision!) on a preshot of 243 and at roughly + 5.5, she was 67!
That may be the first green I've seen from her. I'm not home much around nadir, so she may've hit that green range before.

Also, I've discovered that her food allergies are worse on Friskies Poultry Platter and Mixed Grill (the latter also bumped her glucose up a bit as it is higher in carbs). Its looking like chicken may be a problem.

Poultry platter has more carbs than mixed grill, so I don't give it to Lucian. He doesn't like chicken anyway, won't even eat 'people' chicken much less chicken cat food. Only chicken he'll eat is the Chicken and Tuna or Liver and Chicken. I guess it has to be smothered with something else. He does love turkey though and gets it for treats. I have a freezer bag of cooked turkey and thaw some for him occasionally.

Beef seems to spike his BG's. Every time I gave him Beef or Beef and Liver, he'd run higher than normal. Not bad, but every point counts with him. I think mixed grill has beef too, but maybe not as much, it doesn't seem to effect him the same way, or not enough to be noticed. He's erratic at best.

Tough to do away with chicken, it's in 75%. What you gonna feed her? Everyone says to stay away from fish stuff. What about Turkey and Giblets? Do you think the turkey would bother her like chicken? Maybe not, maybe it is JUST chicken and not poultry? Hope you find something, sure was nice to see the green!

I'll be checking the food list and the specialty pet stores for things like Merrick 95% beef, and so on.
