Previously

Picked her up and put her on the washer. Got the shot in, barely.
Did not get the Clavamox in - she crunched on it in the Pill Pocket and spat it out. Will try again shortly.
Litterbox pretty good this morning. Water barely touched.

She hides in a space next to the dryer and wall. Although front-declawed, I don't want to giver her an opportunity to be so stressed she bites me, which many declawed cats resort to doing with no claws.

Heading down to put in some laundry and will try to pill again.

Do you have a pill shooter? It was the only way I could ever get a pill into Mullet.

First you are truly a Saint for taking in Gracie - she couldn't have done any better. o

I wrap a pill in a litle cheddar cheese, work it to make a small ball (petite pea size), then roll it in nutritional yeast. It's the only way my pickiest Simon will take it - & thinks it's a treat!

Also (I'm sure you already know this but-), I crumble freeze-dried chicken treats on a plate for shot-time. Works better than Tigger's food & he lets me take my time with the shot (as long as the fd treats last, that is! :lol: )

I may dissolve it an oral syringe and try that way.

I do have a pill shooter, if it hasn't been chewed into unusability.

If I get the American cheese, I'm likely to eat it all myself! :lol:

I never could get a pill down Chicken so I would turn the pill into fine powder and mix with some Fancy Feast. I could always get it into her that way. Maybe it would work for you?
