good news-first glucose curve

I'm doing Whiskey's glucose curve today..I'm very excited to report that while his level was high this morning (350), the last 2 tests I did at 10a and noon were within normal range! (177 and 150).

I am hoping this means that the 1 unit of insulin he's been getting twice daily, is enough to keep his diabetes under control!

And btw I've been feeding him:

Natural Balance Ultra Premium
Fancy Feast Classic (different non-gravy flavors)
Purina DM wet food

and occasional treats, mostly baked chicken and swiss cheese..that type of thing.

Hi Whiskeysmom (what do we call you) well done for doing your first curve. I see you are using Prozinc so would encourage you to start posting in the Prozinc forum if you have any insulin specific questions. Can you add a signature so we don't keep asking you the same information. Now you are getting to be a pro at the testing can you start a spreadsheet like we use so if you need any rapid advice we can take a look. Just shout if you need any help with all of this.
