? Good Flat numbers?

Can someone explain to me why Zeke doesn't have much nadir... his numbers stay green and he is holding his reductions, but his numbers stay flat. No complaints, just wondering...

I like easy questions!!

The ideal Lantus curve is flat. Lantus is a gentle insulin that typically doesn't "yank" numbers down the way a shorter acting insulin does. With depot insulin, there is overlap between the cycles which flattens out the curve.

And even if it wasn't an easy answer, Zeke is looking great!! Do you have any clue why there were those 2 blue pre-shots?

Thanks, makes sense. The first blue , I think, was due to giving a decreased (by .25) dose 2 hrs early due to leaving early for work. The second blue I gave dose in his scuff, due to his position and I was in a hurry, I quickly switched back to shooting in his side. ( I checked that it wasn’t a FS). Seems like scruff doesn’t work as well. ??? I’ve read that after a while it’s good to change sites. I’ve been doing side shots for several months now. Working well! :cat:
