With a heavy heart, I had to let my 15 y/o boy, Tom, go to the Bridge yesterday. He did so well with his DM but renal failure was too much. I miss him terribly, but know he finally feels well and is happy again.

I am so sorry to hear that it was Tom's time to go to the Bridge. I hope your wonderful memories of him will help you heal. Some day you will be reunited, and until then he will live forever in your heart.:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Fly free, sweet Tom, travel safely to your new life at the Rainbow Bridgecat_wings>o

I am so sorry... I've had two diabetics, and four with renal disease, but never both diseases in the same cat. I know that everyone says how diabetes is so horrible, but I feel that I struggle more with the renal disease care. I guess I feel in more direct control of the diabetes.

Bless your heart for being such a great mama and taking care if Tom so well during his time here. Now he can fly free without the constraints of either disease.

Play with all of my kitties at the bridge, sweet Tom, but watch out for Brady...he's a troublemaker ;)

Wishing you and your civvies as much peace as possible during this difficult time,
Sandi.
