going out for more than 24 hours

hey i was wondering what everyone does if they need to be out over 24 hours with no one to feed their cat :S ... My cat Ninja is now diet controlled and eats only certain Mac's wet catfood which is ordered from happykittycompany. Im currently living on my own and would have no one to put down more wetfood for her so I was looking for some dryfood options. I found "young again" but they won't deliver to the UK because some of their ingredients are not heated to a high enough temperature they aren't allowed to send it to me out here. Is there is another way I can buy this food? Maybe from a third party who can send it to me? Or is there another dry food option. What about cooking chicken and leaving that out, will it keep longer than catfood?
 
I leave unrefrigerated .canned food out for 12 hours at a time and have no problems.

You could freeze some food to thaw and be eaten after the 12 hours, using a timed feeder.

There are chilling trays for buffets; you could rent or buy one of those to hold the food at a safe temp.

You could hire a pet sitter to cme check that everything is OK as well as feed the cat.

If you're looking for Cat Mate C20s, they come with ice packs. I bought a few of them in August and the best price at the time was from Kettering Koi & Pond (link below). They delivered them the following day, and they're really helpful.

It might be worth double-checking on Ebay first (usually better prices than on Amazon).

Petpods are good feeders too, but they're not burgle-proof.

Purina DM dry has 12.5% carbs as fed. I don't know what effect that would have on Ninja going forward. With the cooler weather, BJM's recommendation about leaving out frozen wet low carb food in a timed feeder - especially a chilled one - would probably be the best way to go.
