Gobbles - We're back from Vet

Good Morning Everyone ~O) & Happy Caturday

Thank you everyone for your comments, concern, prayers and vines yesterday. It means so much to me and I'm blessed to consider all of you friends, and still be a part of Lantus Land, even though Gobbles went OTJ.

The vet visit went as I expected it to. Gobbles was very frightened, as usual, but he's home now and back to his normal "gobbles" antics.

Our vet examined his lump closely and said that he didn't like the way it looked, and that it was under the skin. I asked him what he thought it might be, and he told me that it could be any number of things. I asked him what the worse case scenario would be; he said excision.

Gobbles was taken in the back room and a needle aspiration was done. The vet told me he would have the results on Wednesday, and would call me at that time.

I'll post the results as soon as I get them. I am going to to keep positive about this and do some yard work today :-D Oh, and most importantly, do a lot of praying.

Gobbles said for everyone to enjoy their weekend and read a good book!!!

I'm glad you got this checked out so quickly. We're continuing our prayers for good results. LOVE the picture of Gobby!
 
Oh, Kat, Wednesday seems like light years away! Sending "patience pants" to you - as you have sent to me! Try to stay busy to keep your mind off this a little .... I know, easier said than done! Sending prayers for Gobbles and thinking of you!

Piling on "be nothing" vines and prayers for Gobbles. I'm glad he's back to his ol' self antics already.
I know that "try not to worry" might as well be "jump over the moon" but try anyway. I bet you'll get your whole yard dug up between now and Wed trying to stay busy. We'll be sending tons of prayers for good results and calm for mom.

What a cute picture, what is he reading? Crossing paws and sending healing vines and were hoping it's nothing to worry about, but good you noticed it. Be your cute happy self for your mommy Gobbles...Happy Caturday
 
I'm feeling better already. The cherry on the topping? DH sent me, well Gobbles, an email. It reads:

"You are on thin ice mister. You just better stay under the bed for a while."

This really swells my heart. Half of the worry of Gobbles is that $$ part and that DH is overextended with his patience and wallet...

This really takes some weight off my shoulders today--I'm on my way out the door to do more yardwork than he expects me to :-D

Sounds like Gobbles has the right philosophy about it - get out in the garden & get your hands - er - paws - dirty!

Lumps can be all kinds of things - we've had a number of them here - good thing you got it checked out so quickly & are supported by DH - that can be stressful in itself, I know!

Keeping fingers, toes, paws crossed for you & hope Wednesday comes a day or two sooner!

Hi Kat. Glad you were able to get Gobbles to the vet and get the bump checked out. We have ours fingers crossed for a good report on the test on the bump. We have you and Gobbles in our prayers Kat.

Oh, Kat...I hope that the lump turns out to be absolutely nothing! Hey, Gobbles......best be a good little mister....you're supposed to be coming to Pgh in a week!

I threw that idea out the window and opted for a nice, big, frosty mudslide, poolside....

Thank you, everyone, for your concern and well wishes--you have no idea how happy that's made me--literally feel like I'm holding lots and lots of hands and paws. I love this place!!! :-D
