Glucose testing

I am currently using a human glucose meter by Accu-chek, the up keep is expensive,
I wanted to see what everyone else is using and see what is the most affordable to switch to and also the most affordable to be able to keep using.

Any and all comments or advise welcome.

I personally use the meter from Walmart, Relion Prime. Now this meter is great for those that have been testing for a bit and the ears have started bleeding well. The Prime uses .5ml of blood. Walmart has two other meters that are great for starting out, Micro and Confirm. Both the Micro and Confirm strips cost $36 for 100 where the Prime is $9 for 50. All of these meters are great and easy to use.

If you're not a fan of WalMart, the Confirm and Confirm Micro are actually branded versions of the Arkray USA Glucocard 01 and Glucocard Mini, both available from our shopping partner ADW (link at top of page)

Sounds great, getting something more affordable for the ong run is going to make taking care of her properly more easy on my pocket book.
