Does anyone know if this will affect blood sugar? I have used it on my cat and saw on a bottle for humans that it should not be used by diabetics. Wondering.
.

I have been using Cosequin for Cats for my MurFee for over a year. He is a high-dose cat (16 units twice daily) so it is hard to tell if it affected his BGs.

When you have another condition that must be treated and that treatment increases the glucose levelN you adjust the insulin as needed.

Of course. I wanted to know if it would change the sugar before I make an appointment with my vet,

Several of the cats here are on Cosequin for cats. I don't see anything in the ingredient list that would impact blood sugar. My Neko also gets a glucosamine/condroitin supplement (not Cosequin) and it does not impact her blood sugar. Maybe the brand you have has some additives that are not good for diabetics.
