Hey everyone, newbie here. My little Oliver is between 10 to 12 years old, and has been diabetic now for about four years. He's on Lantis, two units a day twice a day. All is going well but two weeks ago I almost lost him to pancreatitis. He's on the mend however I feel like I'm still trying to regulate him. The vet says it will take a few weeks before he's really back to normal. He's been on fancy feast classic forever, so I have no idea how he got the pancreatitis. Because fancy feast isn't the best call the food I've been trying to research additional nutrients to put in his food to help out his system. I found a supplement called glucoensure that is supposed to help his pancreas as well as his immune system. I haven't talk to the vet about it yet because it's hard to make an appointment just ask a couple questions about the supplement. I was curious if any of you on here had heard of this and had used it? It gets really good reviews but I would love just to pick someone's brain about it before I give it to them. With all the stress that he's been through the little gun shy with anything right now, but I hate the fact that he's still not hundred percent and I want to be able to do something for him that will help his body. Thoughts? Thank you again in advance!
