Glen seems to be doing well after his dental. Giving him Buprex twice s day. He seems happy. Still a bit groggy.

He's still doing the twitching thing off and on but it donned on me that it could be a stress/anxiety response. He's not hiding or anything like that but he is definitely more suspicious of me! Glen hasn't been to a vet in more than five years. And he's been to a vet close to six times in the last 30 days, including a dental a day at the vet for a curve :facepalm:I will continue to watch him but hoping that things will settle down.

Oh my, just catching up today and he is looking so good and I shudder to think that the vet wanted you to shoot 2 units and so glad you didn't !!!!!!

ETA: If the dental presented a bad tooth or teeth that needed to be removed and /or lots of inflammation and tarter, that could have been enough to have higher numbers. After the dental dust settles, you will have a better picture as to where Glen is with his insulin needs.

I am so happy Glen is doing better!
