Glaucoma symptoms

What are the symptoms of canine glaucoma? We rescued a deaf Australian Cattle Dog. Her eyes don't look quite normal. I'm wondering if she also has a congenital defect that might affect her eyes.

My dog Kirby had an eye swollen shut one morning. Thought she'd gotten stung by a bee, so I gave her a Benedryl. Didn't go down. Called my vet. Per him, I gave her a prescription med called Temeril - no effect. Met the vet,... picked up drops en route and went directly to the pet opthamologist, where she had treatment (to reduce swelling) and ultimately glaucoma surgery. Happened very quickly.. from 10 am to 1:30 pm. If there's an ER vet hospital w/ that specialty, or a vet school, that's probably your best hope.

My cat has glaucoma in both eyes.
Signs I noticed before being diagnosed were squinting one eye. keeping one eye closed, pupils appearing to be open differing amount, watering eye, pawing at eye.
My cat started on Timilol 2x a day and this was not bringing the pressure down enough. He know gets Timilol .05 2x and Lasonaprost 1x a day which keeps his pressure within normal range most of the time.
