Hi everyone.
Our list of daily supplements for Boots is starting to climb. Most all of what we give him is powder form (except sometimes Cerenia which can be wrapped in a pill pocket and given with some success). We give him Miralax, probiotic, Cosequin, and now are adding in some new supplements (GlucoEnsure, Pancreas Booster, Natural Moves).
Up til now, with those first three noted, we've been OK to just empty the appropriate dose of each powder into his canned food, and he'd eat it without protest. But the new supplements clearly have some tastes he does not like, so I don't think mixing these with food is going to work.
Has anyone run into this issue, and if so, what has worked for you? Mix it in with food or treats some other way? Put the powders into small capsules and give it that way? I'm trying to avoid pilling, but will do it if that's recommended. I just don't want to ruin his meals by mixing these things in if he doesn't like them.
