Genteel Experience?

Hey guys, so I’ve heard about the Genteel lancing device, which is supposedly painless. Has anyone tried this on a cat? Does it work better? Also, does it make a noise?

Edit: I should clarify, I mean for the paw. I’m assuming it wouldn’t work for the ear due to not being able to get suction at the edge.

I haven't tried it but it seems really cumbersome when trying to poke a tiny area on the ears. Maybe it would work on the paws.
