So I got a 62 this AM after a 218 last night on the 1U he's been on for about a week now. I'm always concerned these lower PS numbers are caused from him not eating, so I made sure he ate first before I gave him a shot, but I popped a Pepcid AC to him anyway and shot a .8U. Yes I left for a 9 1/2 hour work day. I trust Levemir and I also trust that he will eat if he goes low enough to feel it.
I expected to see at least a 250 tonight, but no, he was a respectable 98. He wanted his food, but did not eat a lot. He is due for his yearly dental next month and I am giving his Clindamycin pulse therapy this week.
I stayed with the .8U. Next Monday is the Full Moon, so I know he has to see higher numbers sometime this weekend.
