As predicted, but higher than I predicted. Darn it all too because today was acupuncture, so of course he's going to run higher most of the day. I had his nails trimmed too although it seems like we just did it maybe 6 weeks ago. He has "old kitty" nails, the vet said. Very tough and of course he can't sharpen his claws anymore so the sheaths never break off and they look like monster claws very quickly. Makes him extremely angry. At least the vet trusts me to hold him so he doesn't have the added stress of one of the techs manhandling him.

I thought old kitty claws were just because they can't retract them as well any more? My 17 y.o. still sharpens her claws on the scratcher, but she gets them caught all the time because they don't retract.

Well, the 258 is too bad after those nice days, but it isn't horrible. He does seem more sensitive to highs than either of mine are though. Hope he doesn't have a really bad day. At least the weather is nice today.

I wonder though if they can't retract them because they get thick like his are. Tigget's are the same way now and she used to have such dainty nails I was always scared to trim them!I thought hers was from the Hyper-T, another reason I have suspected it far longer than she's been treated for it, but as well as she responded to the methimazole, I guess we were right to wait.

Gandalf keeps drinking water today. I'm going to test him.

How about that? 94 at +10 Just cannot say enough about the right dose, no matter what the situation (late shot, earlier shot) the right dose gets things back in line fairly quickly. It's that cycle or so at higher numbers that throws people.

"Patience, Grasshopper."

PMPS 118 ~ 1.3U

We finally got our shipment of raw, but they sent the wrong kind. Not sure it makes a difference, but it's Cornish Hen rather than Turkey. The Hen is maybe 1% higher in fat though.

Bummer. Isn't the cornish hen more expensive too? Hope they didn't charge you for it.

Hey, nice recovery from the 200s, Mr. G.!
