Does it matter why he is lower (given those two poss. causes)?

Yes, because I need to determine what's going to keep his numbers lower. If I stop the Clindamycin at 5 days and his mouth isn't cleared up enough, he'll just head back up again. if he heads back up, is it because he needs Clinda again or because the 1.2U isn't holding?

Of course, the 1.2U may not hold if his mouth is causing issues.....round and round we go....

+8 ~ 120

And a very decent number at +8. Has to be his mouth. If the 1.3U was really too much, he'd sit in and around the 250s to 300s all the time? No mid cycle numbers on those days, but I doubt he got much movement. Lack of movement can be too much insulin, not enough insulin or an outside factor like bacterial infection.

It seems too coincidental that I begin the Clindamycin and by day 3 he's back to low 200s and mid-100s.

No, I have a difficult enough time keeping things straight anymore.

PMPS at +11 was 192. 1.2U. I'm afraid it's going to send him too low for the AM dose as it's 2 +11's in a row. I guess I should have dropped the dose or waited till +11.5 or so. He went up quite a bit between the +8 and +11, but I'm a little worried.

Ugh

He was eating at +2, almost parking. He pawed at his feeder because the first slot was already gone (he'd had some help with that) so I gave him half a can more and he ate it like he was especially hungry.

He was 301 at like 2.25. Why?? Dose changes affect??

Guess I won't have to worry about him being too low in the AM.

That is odd - he just really shot up there, didn't he?

So how was he this AM?
