To kitty mom's and dad's living in southern Ontario.
Be careful of Burgess Emergency Vet Clinic in Burlington, ON. If you are taking your kitty in for diabetic issues use this forum for support. Had I of followed their discharge orders, I would have killed my sweet Fritz. I sent him into a severe hypo with siezures following their first discharge orders. (Read my post RE: New to forum, not to feline Diabetes) for the entire strory.

It was this forum that saved my Fritz's life!!!

Wow, thanks so much for the advice! We live in Mississauga and have gone to the Oakville Emergency Clinic before (closest)...and it's good to know about others in the area...especially, in this case, the ones to avoid.

I hope everything is going ok with Fritz :)
 
Thank you!! He is back 100% and even better!! If you have a chance read my last forum post. It was a nightmare to say the least.
Glad I could give you a heads up. We live in Grimsby and Burlington was our closest option. We were there three times in 2 days. Felt like the longest drive of my life.

I was actually following your thread b/c i couldn't believe what was happening to you and poor Fritz (ps. LOVE his name!). Then I momentarily forgot as I was reading the "beware of burlington" lol. I am beyond amazed at how all of that could have happened, and i'm soooo happy to hear that you were proactive and helped Fritz yourself. He is so lucky to have such a caring momma.

This site is amazing for that...I would be so lost without it.

Off topic, I would like to do a SS for Fritz and I saw you had one that you could flip between th US and our mmol? Would you mind leading me in the right direction? Would love to have someone have a look at his numbers!!

Hi. I'm glad Fritz is okay.

You might want to post in Tech Support, to help you get your spreadsheet set up. I know there are others who can help you, too. But I have seen many beans being directed to the Tech Support forum, and being helped there. Good luck.
 
I did something through the Tech forum....I'll look at it now and see if I remember what I did. It does help to have one that you can flip from Canadian numbers to US - cuz the meter says one thing and the forum says another, so this way it makes things so much easier. Sucks to have to fill it out twice, but hey, doesn't really take more than a few seconds lol.

EDIT: Ok here it is...just click on the World one. Then at the bottom you can click to switch between the two (left hand side-ish). Upload this to google docs like the thread says (directions all there) and voila! Try it out and see if what I says makes sense...
