Fur Shot? How to handle?!

This is Cookie's thread, to give an update on her. I could smell medicine on my hands and on her fur after I gave the shot and rubbed her skin. I know it went in, maybe it went out? What to do about that? Since she is in the state she is in, do I dose again? I am at a loss.

Generally the recommendation when you do a fur shot or even when you think you might have done a fur shot is to NOT shoot again. You have no way of knowing how much insulin she might have gotten. The DKA history is concerning but I would hold off on shooting for now unless someone else comes along and thinks you should
