Full moon tomorrow fll_moon Watch out for wonky bgs. Better hide those moon shoes and trampolines from cats prone to trips to outer space :lol: Squishy Merlin will have drinks on hand for those who sneak out for a brief trip ;-)

Keep an eye on the civies, too. Leroy's already affected by the moon which mean his usual bcatrun_gif is now bcatrun_gif bcatrun_gif bcatrun_gif bcatrun_gif bcatrun_gif bcatrun_gif bcatrun_gif bcatrun_gif bcatrun_gif bcatrun_gif

Well all the kitties are catching the moon beam to Australia tonight...so I'm not sure if they encounter the full moon twice? Once in Australia and then when they get home tomorrow...thereby they will have been in the full phase of a magical blue moon! :o

Gah...no!!!! I wasn't paying attention to the moon's cycles, but I swear we're just starting to recover from the last full moon!!!

@Julie,

I don't know if it really affects kitties or not but last year my mom had to go to the ER (egg salad + July heat + senior citizen = yeah we should've seen that coming).

Hospital staff was talking amongst themselves: uh oh it's full moon. You know how the ER gets when the moon is full.

So there may be something to it.

that darn full moon already effected Spot...starting two days before! Thankfully he's returned from his trip to the moon!

is that true? do you think it really does affect them?

It affects some cats, not all. Squishy was known for bouncing way up to the moon.... and then dropping like a rock afterwards :shock: I think WCF's Meowzi also bounced up high during a full moon.
