Hi All--

Usually Rewster is in the 200-400 range pre-shot. I just tested and saw she is at 155 PMPS. How should we proceed? Stalling as of right now without feeding.

Okay, will do, thank you! I'll report back then. Just did a ketones test and she's at .5 mmol on a blood ketones meter.

Since she was going back up we decided not to skip the dose. I gave a half dose (.5 unit) at +13 (6:30pm) and fed 3oz 5% carb food with the shot. I'm unsure if we should have done the full dose but I was scared she'd drop too steep/low. Going to monitor frequently over the next few hours and planning on a 20 calorie 3% carb snack at 8:30pm or 9:30pm depending on numbers.

Question--Can I do a normal AM dose at typical time 5:30am given she is high enough?

Sorry...had a little emergency here. You did the right thing by shooting but looks like she's really diving. If you haven't already, give her a snack of something a little higher carb and see if we can slow down that drop

We did a medium carb fancy feast gravy lovers snack of about 1/3 of a 2.8oz can between +1 and +2. Was at 74 at +2.5 and then at 87 +3.

looks like she's on the way up and it's safe for you to get some sleep!

Don't be surprised if she's high in the morning. Dropping that fast usually causes a bounce.

@Rewster's Mom (Renee) Just something I noticed when looking closer at your spreadsheet. If you're doing SLGS, you have missed several times when she should have been reduced.

On SLGS, any time they drop below 90, you should reduce by 0.25. Since you've already given the 1.0 unit this morning, you should reduce her dose to 0.75 tonight and hold that dose unless she drops below 90 again.

Okay, thank you! I just posted now in the ProZinc forum because she is at 146 at +10, so I was already quite wary about a similar pattern tonight!
