Full Beaver Moon party tonight! Everyone invited!

Kitties All--

Let's gather together, sugars and civvies, for the Full Beaver Moon! Of course there will be traditional favorites as purrpared by my mentor, Chef Rusty, and the Kitchen Krews of yore at Beaver Moons past:
Appurrtizers: Moon Microbrews; Moontinis; Pumpkin Soup; Cimmamum-spiced Beaver Chews; Assorted Paw Prints Pizzas; Sushi Bar featuring the specialties of Sushi Chef Tux as well as Chef Neko's fabulous Sushi rolls made with Beaver River Fish.
Entrees: Big Moose Chili; Campfire-Roasted Chicken with Catnip Glaze; Grilled Beaver River Rainbow Trout; Grilled Wild Turkey Sausage with Rosemary and Goat Cheese; Michigans (hotdogs) with the Chef's Special Sauce.
Salads: Beaver River Slaw with Maple Sap; Butthead's and Donny's marinated Adirondack Field Greens.
Desserts: Maggie's Signature Pumpkin Cheesecake with Maple Syrup; Tobey's Cimmamum Cookies; Cranberry-Apple Pies à la Chief Pastry Chef Tess; Surprise Riverbank Dessert à la Dessert Chef Sootie.
Newer traditions include Leo's Chunky Tuna and Salmon Ice Cream with Sardine Sprinkles; Chef Felix's Sweet and Savory Crunchy Crouton Toppers; Olive's Shoelaceghetti with a side of pickles; TinySolé's sister Cookie's cod brownies filled with catnip; PussCatDusty's crispy birds feet served on baked catnip wafers (mmmmm, crunchy!) as well as her sweet and sour skink tail vol-au-vents & freeze dried plain yoghurt balls; Chef Felix's Mediterranean platter with crunchy falafel, catmint mewli-tabouli, and smoked papurrika hummouse; Chieflet Luna's Longtail Surprise à la Rosa and Regan. You'll find Bella's Catinis at the Tiki Hut.

We are a crazy-fun bunch of kitties and things get pretty wild at our Full Moon parties! But for those who would purrfur a quieter evening, come to the Taster Blankets: Olive will greet you, Idjit will get you tucked in all comfy, and Roxi will make sure every morsel you nibble is tasty as can be. The blankies also have the best view at the Circle of Remembrance, when the veil thins between us and our beloved GAs at the Rainbow Bridge and we can purrceive them partying with us.

Chieflet Luna and the Kitchen Krew are having lots of fun getting the yummies ready for everyone, so come party down with your purring selves!

Oh boy, it's time again!!! Tina Marie is ready to party hearty and her appetite is good; she's feeling better and better, and would like to help care for and serve the kitties who aren't feeling as well. She is super excited about tasting EVERYTHING -- she adores the huge variety of fuds. Tina just got her fluids and is feeling extra fine -- it's so cold outside, she's hoping it's warm at the party tonight! I see she's putting her green bikini on since it's a new gift -- oh goodness, I wish she'd wear something else!!
 
Oh, Luci WANTS to dance so badly! But she'll be on the Tasters Blankets again tonight - going to have to sit this one out due to her broken foot. She be getting signatures on her pink cast (if she can leave it alone for five minutes)...and enjoying some of the fun fuds and catinis that Bella is bringing to share. She's constantly telling me now that she wants that cast off...she's bored...she's tired of the cast...she wants to go have fun like she used to!:facepalm:

I'm glad she's going to the Full Beaver Moon pawty tonight...she's driving me crazy so it'll be good to get her out of the house for a little while.:p

Thank you Susan and Chef Felix for putting on a fine shindig for the kitties! I'm hoping Luci will settle down on the Tasters Blankets so she can say hello to our GA's, Sam, Miss Puss and Mr. E - they're all there waiting and playing in the meadow...:bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
Gus braved our 8 inches (so far) of snow to go down to the beavers' lodge and see how they are doing. The lodge is nice and warm in the winter. Those beavers know how to keep comfy! (it's 8 degrees Fahrenheit here and going down a few more degrees, supposedly).
Gus just left to go to the party, eager to see his friends and to eat that fabulous food.

Chef Felix, everything looks great. Happy Full Beaver Moon to all the kitties! The moon is huge here. The Circle of Remembrance will be extra poignant this full moon: all of the kitties will want to communicate with their dear friend, Bronx. :cat:
 
Don't tell, but we stole Mom's phone so we could update from the party. Things are going wonderfully well in the kitchen - we have lots and lots of food ready for everyone. The menu is yummy and we're having fun preparing the food. Roxi is carefully taking notes from the taster blanket kitties so we can make sure that each new batch of food is as good as the last and that any special requests are met. The kittens have their dancing shoes on and are practicing their dance routines under Ruby's supervision. And Licorice is saving us a good spot for the Circle so we can see our much-loved GAs. Head on down and party everyone - we've got plenty of food and entertainment to last all night! ~Luna
 
Leo’s definitely going to join all his wonderful lovable fur friends at the Full Beaver Moon Pawty tonight!

He’s offered to serve food and drinks to any kitties not feeling up to par and cuddled up on the Tasters blanket. Also, he’s hoping to sign Luci’s cast before she convinces someone to help her rip it off! :smuggrin:

He’s in top form since he spent the whole day lounging around like a fluffy grey slug at Bella’s Tiki bar! Good thing Bella called “last call” before he arrived, otherwise he’d be passed out on the Tasters Blanket and there wouldn’t be any room for anyone else! :rolleyes:

He heard that cutie pie Tina is wearing her new green bikini, and Furball will be purring, and Bubba's bringing cigars, so he’s been zooming up and down the hallway looking for something cool to wear!

Thank you so much Chef Felix for hosting this pawty so all the kitties can get together for a visit and see all their dear GA purr pals on the other side of the veil. :bighug:
 
Thanks, everykitty! It's so fun to spend time with the delightful revelers, not to mention the amazing staff and volunteers. And the moment is here where we will spend a bit of time with our beloved GAs as well. It's always such a comfort to me to see them and to know that things really are ok at their side of the Bridge.

My momma texted me that she's been laughing at everyone's RSVPs and has been singing Nilsson songs.

ETA: Extra thank-mews to the extra helpers at the Taster Blankets tonight. Instead of dancing all night like usual, Taster Blanket Coordinator Idjit went home right after the Circle because he has to take care of his mom @Idjit's mom who is on a Taster Blanket herself right now. Our Auntie Lou is so kind--almost as kind as Idjit--and all of us kitties love her! We packed up a box of Tuna Tidbits and Mousie Morsels for Idjit and Auntie Lou to share, and we know he'll have her purred back to health in no time.
