I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who was so helpful to me and Frodo as I treated his diabetes. Although we were sporadic posters, the guidance and support I received from the wonderful people on this site was invaluable to me. It helped me to give Frodo an extra 9 months of good living. And believe me, it was good living! He let me know he wanted to start going outside again this spring and I agreed. He accompanied me to the garden and became a avid sun worshiper, a bird watcher and ferocious mole hunter (I exist in harmony with moles everywhere but in my vegetable garden). Until his last week he was energetic, happy sugar cat who loved to keep me on my toes with his asymptomatic hypos. I'm peaceful knowing he has joined his best friend, Haplo, an amazing German shepherd, and they are probably romping around and wrestling together again.
Thank you all for your time and dedication.
Heidi and Frodo

Heidi -

So sorry for your loss, but it seems like Frodo had a wonderful life with you! The sun, the birds, the moles - he had a wonderful life on earth, and now has moved onto his next life with his dear friend. Peace to you.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Sending many cyber hugs to you. I am sure Frodo is playing with his bud Haplo. Frodo is flying free now, whole and healthy over the Rainbow Bridge. rb_icon

I am sure you did all you could to give this cat a good life. It's tough, but in time the tears will be replaced with smiles and good memories.
