Moe is eating (and loving!!) Friskies pates. I currently order food for my other cats from Chewy and would like to add Friskies to my monthly order, but the only non-fish options with multiple flavors is the new Friskies with Extra Gravy.

Is this food still considered low carb? Some members on the FB forum said that the extra gravy is just more "meat juice", but I'm not sure if that's okay. I can still buy the mixed flavors without extra gravy by the case at Target, but would love to get it delivered to my door.

Thoughts?

I would be hesitant to even try it, but you can always contact the company and see if they will tell you. I think on catinfo.org on the food list, that Dr. Pierce has some suggestions on how to get the info from the company.

The 5.5 oz cans seem to all be priced at 54 cents at the lowest, when I check chewy, amazon, and even Walmart. Can you order more than one case to get multiple flavor choices that way? I feed my Alice only the chicken and liver because she tolerates that one okay.

I feed Quincy (switching from Purina DM) Fancy Feast Flaked Tuna. High in protein and fat but low in carbs. You said no fish but I believe there is a chicken one he might like as well.

Catcat is another one doing well on Friskies Flaked with Tuna -- some of the others in that low carb range, that he likes, are a bit heavy on the fat and lower in protein, I don't want him picking up too much padding ...
