Friskies Pate switch issues

Hello all. I have two cats - Ms Kitty (non-diabetic) and Beast (diabetic). When I first noticed more urine output and excess thirst in both cats I switched to Friskies pates (mostly chicken/turkey variety). I didn't know at the time it should have been gradual. I was just more concerned with dehydration. There was a period of wetter duller looking poop. Ms Kitty went to vet first. She had a UTI - given antibiotics, but the increased urine in box remained. I took them both to the vet. Ms Kitty given the all clear, Beast diagnosed with UTI and Diabetes. He was put on antibiotics and vetsulin. I figured some of the wetness to the poops was from the diet change and possibly antibiotics. They did start to firm up and gain normal color. I noticed some flavors of the Pates they didn't really dig so the next batch I went to the fish variety. They seemed to enjoy it, but the poop went back to the dull color and wetter and I noticed with the salmon version there would be small bits of salmon colored vomit (some with hairballs). Now I have found a puddle I thought was vomit - turned out to be diarrhea - in the living room so one cat can no longer make it to the litter box. Is it best to stick to fewer flavors? Is it just the gut bacteria can't get used to the constant switching or possibly an allergy to the fish? I now have mixed grill and turkey w/giblets, but it might take a bit to get the tummy settled. Beast looks like he might be heading into diet controlled territory so I am hesitant to switch brands, but just wondering if you guys have any thoughts to the stomach upset in one or both cats. They have been on Friskies for over a month by now, but not consistent with flavors.

I feed all my cats Friskies with just a little FF. I feed many different varieties of Friskies with no problems.
Thanks for responding. With a bit more searching I did see a few others that had a bit of upset. I think they added FF to help ease them into it as well. If I don't see a change with the chicken/turkey ones, I will try adding FF.
