I was wondering if anyone has had experience feeding this to their diabetic cats?

We recently went out of town for 3 weeks and took Judah & Bobbie with us. We hated to ask someone to come to our house 3x a day to feed them for 3 weeks. Good news is that they(and their sugar) did very well. I have seen this pet food advertised at home but not come across a store that sells it. While we were gone, I saw some and after looking at the protein content(almost twice that of their canned food) I decided to let them try it and they loved it. Of course I couldn't afford to feed it to them all the time but if I only had 1 cat then it would be an option.

Their BG stayed good, so I hope I did ok by feeding it to them. Just womdered what anyone elses experience or thoughts are on this food.

i've fed these before. the cat food ones in the little tubs. all my cats like them and they don't seem to effect Mousie's bg levels.

aren't you in california becky? or am i still asleep this morning? :-) if you are, my local Vons grocery store carries them, right in the pet food aisle. my local petsmart only seems to carry the ones for dogs. maybe i'll hit them up tonight about the cat food ones. :-) and my local Albertson's used to carry them. they were the first in town to have them actually. last time i was in there though i didn't see any so not sure if they moved them or if they stopped carrying them.

but yeah, at $1.79 they can get super pricey fast. Vons did have them on sale for $1.50 just recently. not sure if they still do though

Thanks for the links to those threads. I'm going to read them right away.

I bought the kind for them that was pictured in the link i posted. i gave it to them for their afternoon feeding- gosh they loved it!

No, I'm in Alabama. I was visiting in TN and saw it at Ingles.
