Freezing wet food for overnight stay

So I posted last night, about my husband surprising me with an overnight beach stay, movie tickets and dinner reservations. (Best husband ever) New to the area, live in the middle of nowhere and last minute thing, so nothing or no one is available. We leave at noonish today, will be back tomorrow at morning. I've read I can freeze wet cat food.. so I did. I'll feed and shoot this morning and leave the frozen food in other bowls so she can eat. She will miss her shot tonight, but I can give her morning insulin when we come back tomorrow. Still worried, but is this a good plan? No more Valentine surprises! Lol Please send your thoughts.

Freezing the wet food and leaving it out for later is fine. It seems to freeze better if you mix it with a little bit of water. Have fun on your Valentine's Day surprise!
