Apologies if this has been asked before, but when using Freestyle Lite strips in an Alphatrak meter, do you have to recode the AT meter? I.e., my bottle of Freestyle Lite strips says 19, and the Alphatrak is always set to 37.
Due to a FedEx delay, my Alphatrak strips have been delayed, but I do have the Lite strips on hand. I tested, using the Lite strips, on both the Freestyle Lite meter and the AT using the same drop, and there was a 170 point discrepancy. I know human and pet meters can be quite far apart at higher numbers, but that seemed like an overly large difference.
