I didn't see this posted already, so hopefully it's not a duplicate. Also, I know that there aren't too many FreeStyle folks on this board, but I wanted to share this important information for those who do use FreeStyle Lite test strips.
On 11/20/13, Abbott recalled certain lots of their FreeStyle Lite test strips. I was just in CVS, and they had to run 6 or 7 boxes through before they found one that wasn't on recall and that they could sell to me (PHEW!!!!).

The recalled lots of strips are only defective with certain glucometers, not all, so read the information closely.
