Happy to report that Fred celebrated his 10th birthday on Jan 30, and 19 months remission Jan 29 ( blood glucose @ 77). I'm very blessed to still have him in my life...thought I was gonna lose him in Oct to IBD ( no biopsy, so not confirmed, but suspected) and pancreatitis. After much research, I switched him to Nulo canned food as it is high protein, low carb, no Carrageenan...and has pumpkin already in it so he stays regular in the poop area. 
He also gets chicken gizzards occasionally. So, Fred is doing great! Hope y'all are well. I spend less time on the board, and more on FB, so....see y'all there.
