A few more days of meds (pancreatititis) and we should be good. He's feeling much better and eating good.
We have officially made the switch to Friskies pates. Hope y'all have a good day. Fred will be under the bed, while I'm at work, as we are having storms, all weekend.

Thank you. It's been rough but we are better. Trixie gets Cerenia regularly?

She does get cerenia regularly....right now, she gets 4mg every 36 hours, but there are times when she's feeling off that I increase it to every 24 hours until I feel secure that whatever was bothering her has passed. She's been on it for over a year now - she had a very bad p-titis attack (her first) last April, and at the same time she was diagnosed with advanced chronic kidney disease. I find that by staying ahead of potential nausea with cerenia and pepcid, she feels pretty darned good the bulk of the time (however, her p-titis flares every single time I take her to the vet!), but any time I've tried to cut back dosage or wean her off, she starts to backslide.
