Foul Smelling Watery Stools After Anti-Biotic

My 16 yr old Bengal just had two teeth out on March 2 and had been on Clindamycin for 7 days before the surgery and 7 days after.

When he first when on it, a few days later, he developed watery bowel movements. I put him on 50mg metronidazole, and that helped for a bit, but when the last dose of anti-biotic was given last Friday - 5 days ago - the nasty smelling watery stool business started up again.

I've been giving him 50mg metronidazole daily and also a packet of Forti Flora and these don't seem to stop it.

Does anyone know of anything else that might be maybe better to give him?

You could also try adding pumpkin to his food. Make sure it is canned pumpkin and not pumpkin pie filling. That will help firm up his stools.
